I Knowles Nothing - A CPAC Genocide
Context Matters
I recently did a break down of Michael Knowles’ comments on Tim Pool’s “Timcast IRL” show where he had some absurd excuses for why the GOP sucks. Basically, (and literally) he said it was the libertarians that were to blame for the GOP being feckless. If only they had that type of influence. Below is the link for that show.
I start off this episode by showing Michael is well aware of the good arguments for anarchy (see anarcho-capitalist) and/or libertarianism so that when you contrast this earlier knowledge and discussion with his Timcast comments you can see he’s either not listened, not remembered or is disingenuous. The obvious answer is “disingenuous” because he’s a smart guy.
This past weekend Michael spoke at CPAC, which for starters sounds like a horrible experience all around. In his speech Michael made some comments about trans people and their ideology and the news reports (quite literally) were to frame it as “CPAC Speaker Calls for Transgender People to Be ‘Eradicated.” As The Daily Wire put it:
Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, and The Daily Beast all similarly misconstrued Knowles’ words as a call for eradicating people, not an ideology. The Daily Wire promptly demanded retractions and apologies from each of the publications, and Knowles himself reacted similarly to the Rolling Stone headline stating, “CPAC Speaker Calls for Transgender People to Be ‘Eradicated.”
Michael responded with a tweet of
Its pretty obvious from Michael’s speech he wasn’t calling for the outright eradication of trans people, like as in a “genocide or holocaust.” The quote in question from his CPAC speech in full was.
"The problem with transgenderism is not that it's inappropriate for children under the age of 9. The problem with transgenderism is that it isn't true."
“For the good of society and especially for the good of the poor people who have fallen prey to this confusion, transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely, the whole preposterous ideology — at every level,”
I have no problem with trying to “eradicate” an ideology without advocating to genocide an entire section of people - literally. I’m very much against the communist, socialist and fascist ideologies and I wish them eradicated as well. How you go about this eradication is perhaps the bigger issue and that’s perhaps where Knowles could be criticized. But someone would have to press him on this and have him explain what his plan would be.
Suspending Habeas Corpus
In my analysis of his comments I took issue with Michael’s flippant endorsement of President Lincoln suspending Habeas Corpus “rightly”. If suspending your right to due process and against unlawful detention or imprisonment is “justified” when trying to secede, then perhaps its doubly important to suspend when trying combat the social ills we face and specifically, trans ideology. With Knowles’ debate on Timcast with Luke Rudkowski (full show episode here), he kept indicating his side (conservatism?) needed to enforce what was “right” (i.e., the correct and non-evil way). Michael and I probably agree on what is “right” is in many instances, but since he’s a Catholic and I’m not, I know we don’t agree always and in some instances we would be opposed. Therefore, with Michael’s past comments of how he would resolve issues of conflict between “right and wrong” combined with no qualms for suspending habeas corpus, I could see some good faith concern for his comments above when he used the word “eradicate.”
But as always, the left and those with the woke ideology as their religion, don’t give any context or nuance and actually they don’t even know they could have. They instead jump on “eradication” and associate it with “genocide” because it will get their crowd in an uproar, give them some funding and make them feel better about themselves.
Dirty Leftist Chocolate
This does remind me of how the right will do similar scare tactics to fundraise and pit American’s against each other. Recently Hershey’s went “woke” and so The Daily Wire made a video and started selling their own chocolate. This is also what they (Jeremy Boring CEO of The Daily Wire) did with razors.
I have no problem with The Daily Wire capitalizing off the dangers of woke chocolate but just know that scaring the boomer’s into giving you money is also what the left is doing with your comments about trans ideology.
On my last episode I played an interview with Donald Trump Jr. and Glenn Beck where Don is explaining how in starting his new "news app” the bank they were using (PNC) closed their account for no reason. This isn’t good, but upon further investigation Don was pushing a new website that helps you pick companies who aren’t woke and PNC reversed their closure BEFORE he gave the interview.

Michael Knowles isn’t wrong about the trans ideology and I am somewhat bothered by having to defend him here because the news media is evil and will try to gaslight you whenever they can. This ideology he mentions does need to be eradicated. But I’m treating it like I do those eThots on social media showing their ass and begging for attention, I am ignoring it all. I’m not putting my head in the sand and hoping it goes away, but instead I’m not bending to their demands and acting like a mental problem should be revered as a scholarly idea. I’m simply not giving their ideas value.
